The promotion highlights China-themed programs taking place at restaurants and cultural venues throughout the city in conjunction with the warriors’ DC appearance, as well as international art exhibitions and performances, holiday happenings, sports events and military commemorations. At the heart of the promotion, Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of China’s First Emperor features 15 life-sized terra cotta figures unearthed from the tomb of China’s First Emperor, Qin Shihuangdi, who ruled from 221-210 B.C.
